End of Year SMARTR Outcome #1

At the end of the 2020-2021 school year, students with disabilities (SWD) and English Learners (ELs) will demonstrate improved performance as evidenced by SOL Reading unadjusted pass rate. SWD will improve pass rate from 56% (2018-2019)  to  69% as indicated by the SOL Reading unadjusted pass rate. ELs will improve the pass rate from 27% to 66% as indicated by the SOL Reading unadjusted pass rate.

Strategy 

  • Teachers will provide differentiated and scaffolded literacy instruction to all students through the workshop model.

 

End of Year SMARTR Outcome #2

  • At the end of the 2020-2021 school year,  students with disabilities (SWD) and ELs will demonstrate improved performance as evidenced by SOL Math pass rate.   Students with disabilities will improve the unadjusted pass rate from 61% to 72% as indicated by the Math SOL. ELs students will improve the unadjusted pass rate from 48% to 62% as indicated by the Math SOL.

Strategy  

  • Teachers will provide differentiated and scaffolded math instruction to all students through the workshop model.

 

End of Year SMARTR Outcome #3

  • All students will be provided opportunities to access the Level IV AAP rigor evidenced by implementing lessons or units of study, three times quarterly across at least two subject areas, as reported by teacher survey results.  At least one learning opportunity must come from an AAP curriculum program while the other two or more lessons can also include CCT strategies.

Strategy 

  • Teachers will provide all students regular access to the Advanced Academic Program (AAP) curriculum and CCT strategies.
